Party

Today I went to the mall and the bank with Daddy. Everyone was interested in seeing me and how I was doing. That's just the job of being a baby. It is nice to help people connect with youth. After the bank we picked Mommy up at the gym and went to Jonathan's graduation party. It was great to see so many aunts, uncles, cousins and of course my grandparents and great grandmom. I have included a picture that mommy took of me with Aunt Liz below. She is Jonathan's mom. I had a great time at the party. I was a little fussy in the evening. Mommy and Daddy think I might be teething. I have been so hungry lately too.

Tickles

Today I had a super day! I was so happy with just Paul and I in the baby room! Ms. Stacy found a new tickle spot under my chin which kept me giggling for a while. I was able to pull one of the toys off the bar on my ladybug mat - I'm getting so strong. I was very busy today and much more interested in a lot of the toys. I'm studying how Paul gets around and plays.

When I got home from school I went to the mall with mommy. I loved watching people move up and down the stairs. I met some people as well when we ran more errands. Everyone liked to smile at me. I was happy to smile back at them today too.

Growing

Today I am so hungry!! I had a very nice time this morning playing on the mat with Ms. Stacy while the boys slept. We did lots of exercises and clapping games. I am trying hard to roll over! I had good tummy time on the mat as well. Paul made me laugh by crawling over to me and making kissing noises over and over.

When I got home I played on the mat some more. I was laughing and having a good time. I loved to reach for the toys on my Baby Einstein mat. And I love to watch mommy and daddy as they walk around our place. I have taken a special interest in watching them eat dinner. I can't wait until I get to eat solid foods.

Hungry

Today I was pretty tired and seemed to be constantly hungry. I must be in the midst of another growth spurt! Today I was happiest in Ms. Stacy's lap or arms and interacting with my friends.

Toys

Today I was very sleepy, yet pleasant as well. I was quite a happy smiler and talker. I had some tummy time and did a great job holding up my head. I loved laying on my back so I could swat and kick at toys - definitely my favorite activity today.

Giggles

I had a fit of giggles this morning, which everyone enjoyed! I also got very excited (waving my arms up and down) when Ms. Stacy put on Putomayo's world music - my favorite song appears to be "Mardi Gras Mambo!" I was a bit sniffly and congested but that certainly did not keep me from having a good day!

Reaching for the Sun

Today I was pretty sleepy. I was in a good mood; I liked watching the spinning turtle toy & the musical alphabet ball. I had good tummy time. I reached very far for the sun hiding behind the cloud on the mat.

Blue Monday

Today I was not quite myself - I was pretty cranky much of the day & cried a lot even though Ms. Stacy held me as much as she could. I drank my bottles fine and burped normally. My belly didn't seem gassy - Maybe I'm just having a blue Monday?

Relaxed

I had a nice relaxing day. I chatted nicely with my friends & enjoyed pulling on toys. I also liked the many tickling games we played. I was very snuggly. I paid close attention to the boys as they stacked cups, counted & named colors.

Fire

I had a very exciting day. I was in a very happy mood and I made funny gurgling "coo" noises. I was highly entertained while watching preschoolers toss balls back and forth.

The fire department was notified today due to a cooking mishap in the kitchen. The staff evacuated the children and when the fire department arrived and assessed the area, they deemed the center to be safe!

Painting

Today I finished my special art project, so I may have orange paint under my fingernails. I LOVED painting with my hands! I was in a terrific mood, I especially liked our rendition of Hickory Dickory Dock! I was so musical today, Daddy should be proud!

Art

Today I did my very first art project, which will be coming home later this week. So don't be alarmed if you notice a little bit of green paint between the toes of my right foot. I laughed when the paintbrush tickled my foot! I also thought it was hysterical when Karli was dancing while holding Stacy's fingers - I laughed and laughed! I also spit up a little bit of phelm two times today after burping.

Dancing

I continued my happy talkative mood. I made lots of great sounds and I loved bopping around to our "Baby Dance" CD. I also liked hanging out on my back as well as my tummy on the ladybug mat.

Cuddly

Today I was very cuddly! Ms. Chris & I rocked back and forth in the rocking chair and I was so content! Ms. Chris sang songs, the boys made "music" with the shakers so one day I'll be their little dancer! We also read lots of books!
